Singing

I need to post an addendum to my Christmas post. One of my favorite moments of Christmas was when we were singing Christmas carols at church and Kyle starts "singing" along with everybody else....loud...and basically just one loud "ahhhh." I was laughing so hard I was crying. He was SOOO loud. But it was really sweet. Since Christmas we have caught him doing it a few other times.

On another note, we are preparing for our "baby" to turn ONE in just over a week!! We will be celebrating with a "bug bash." While discussing what kind of party to have the boys told me that I should have a Barbie Computer party...so we'll see how that cake turns out in April! :)

Thanksgiving, Christmas, The End of 2010

Thanksgiving:
-Spent in St. Louis with my family
-Kyle cut his first tooth
-Henry & Drew played a LOT of Wii...they love the sword fighting on Wii Play.
-Saw some good friends.
December:
-I played bells (while "dancing") with her bell choir in a huge Christmas production (five shows) (Many thanks to my hubby for allowing me to fulfill this dream!) :)
-My parents came to watch the show and celebrate my dad's 70th b-day!
-My sis & I surprised him with a "limerick-sine" ride--where we read the limericks his friends had written and looked at Christmas lights in a limo! :)
-Celebrated Mike's b-day with a Mexican Christmas themed dinner.-Drove to Mike's parents in Denver for Christmas, staying with some friends of ours from Italy (who have four girls) on the way there. Henry claimed that the girls were their "best friends" after just a couple of hours.
-Went on a date with my husband--to an Iranian owned Mexican restaurant--VERY yummy!
-Kyle cut a top tooth, learned to walk across the room unassisted, and forgot how to sleep at night.
-With unseasonably warm weather in Denver, we enjoyed the Littleton Community pool, Nature Center, and a day skiing in the mountains with the older two boys. Mike & I enjoyed skiing after a SIX year hiatus. Henry learned how to ski/snow plow in a controlled manner...Andrew....well, check out this picture (his instructor said that he got pretty good at putting his skis on and then taking them off):
-Made a family "12 days of Christmas" video for Mike's brother Matt...
-Came home and had some other friends from Italy come through on a cross country "move" and got to spend New Year's Eve with them.

And here are some collections from 2010...to remember a year marked by some big things:
-Kyle's birth
-My niece's bat mitzvah
-Uncle David's wedding to Aunt Rachel!
-Henry's soccer debut (& Mike coaches)
-Andrew begins school
-Kyle walks
-Mike starts on a new construction/build project at work
-Julie plays bells
-Julie's 2nd Triathlon
-Toy Story & Star Wars consume our little boys play time
-The boys learn to ski

Looking forward to what 2011 has in store for us!!
